The first course to be developed will be
entitled 'First
Responder Training - Evidence Preservation'.
This course will be aimed at I.T
professionals and will teach them how to preserve evidence,
initiate the chain of evidential continuity and avoid common
mistakes that often result in evidence being lost or
becoming inadmissible.
This knowledge
can then be put to work immediately after an incident takes
place within your organisation. Once the evidence is
preserved, it can then be handed over to the authorities or
ourselves for analysis purposes, in the knowledge that it has
been collected correctly and is admissible in a court of law
should the need arise.
The course will be delivered in a classroom
environment, with an individual computer provided to each
delegate - ensuring that they have the opportunity to work
through the course material completely, in a hands on
manner.
Our lecturer has many years of Computer
Forensics experience, from both a law-enforcement and
commercial perspective - and will be able to answer
questions delegates may have that stray beyond the depth of
the course framework - we feel this provides far greater
value, as opposed to using lecturers that are not experts in
this field.
"A small investment in a training course
can save your company thousands of pounds in evidence
preservation fees generated as a result of incident
response".
